Bamboo Bicycle Ecotours in Manila, Philippines

This month, I visited Manila, Philippines, and I found this!  It was in the heart of Manila’s old walled city of Intramuros.

Bamboo frame bikes look great.  Bamboo is currently not widely used as a frame material, but it is lightweight, strong, and flexible, and it gives a smoother ride.
Bamboo growth very fast, so using bamboo as bike frames is regarded "sustainable."
