Yeongdo Bridge

Well, from Nampo-dong to Yeong Island, you should pass the bridge called Yeongdo Bridge.

This bridge has opening and closing only once a day, at 2 PM.

Yeong Island, Busan Korea

There is Yeong Island on the other side across the bridge from Busan's downtown Nampo-dong. There is a place prosperous in the shipbuilding industry, and  it has become a tourist spot by regional revitalization.  Recently I read an article about that in airplane in-flight magazine, and it seemed easy to get there, so the other day I visited there.

This is the information center. Unfortunately it was not open, because it was Monday.

Buildings and arts that are colorfully colored in the surroundings. However, people were completely work mode on weekdays, you should be careful not to disturb them.

I can see the Jagalchi market on the other side.

Hiroshima Itsukushima Shrine

Itsukushima Shrine (厳島神社 Itsukushima-jinja) is a Shinto shrine on the island of Miyajima, best known for its "floating" torii gate.

Since my childhood, I often visited Miyajima, because it is near to my hometown.  But many years have passed since the last time.

Last week, I visited there again.








The shrine has Noh stage, and Noh play is performed periodically.
